Meet Heather Montgomery, author of Wild Discoveries: Wacky New Animals as she talks about the research that went into her book, and the technology the discoverers used to find these animals. Some of the tools were very low tech (a magnifying glass) to high tech (GPS Systems). If you love animals and technology, you’re going to love this program! This Science Club is a part of the Discover Tech Program.

Heather Montgomery, author of Wild Discoveries, Wacky New Animals will be joining our Super Duper Science Club to talk about her new book and the new cool animals that have just been discovered. She'll talk about the different kinds of technology scientists use to discover the animals (they use everything from low tech shovels to satellite imagery!) and talk about how kids helped discover some of the animals in her book. So if you like acid spitting earthworms and other strange animals you won't want to miss this! For grades 3-5.
